Course Description :
Basic science in everyday life and how these knowledge has been integrated Into innovation and industrial technology such as foods, agriculture, medical, pharmaceuticals, and forensics; and also the role of S&T products in improving or changing our ways of life as well as their desirable and undesirable impacts on our environment.

What to expect?
Students will be able to apply up to date information from our course in real life, in the era of COVID–19 pandemics. To fight the COVID–19, it is necessary to understand the origin and nature of pathogen and its host. Then, to control and eliminate the diseases, various scientific tools including vaccines and medicine will necessary. Our course aims to reveal the beauty and danger of natures as well as illustrate the advance of human inventions to improve our health. Furthermore, to boost the economy, our course will show the scientific basis that drive food and industry. Our course aim to address the importance of science and technology not only for our health but also environment. Last but not least, our course will utilize active learning platforms, including Kahoot, and there will be group works to promote students’ communication and collaboration.
