Course Description :

 

The history of psychology, psychological development, biological foundation of psychology, sensory, perception, consciousness, learning and memory, language and thought, motivation, emotion, intelligence, personality, social influence and social cognition, stress and coping, psychological disorders and treatment.

What to expect?

 

Psychology is a scientific knowledge of mind and behavior. Each week students will be introduced to different fields of psychology (i.e., social, developmental, counselling, clinical, cognitive, and organizational psychology). Each field has made the systematic attempts to understand mind and behavior in the different lenses. The course will allow students to apply psychological knowledge to real life, so that they can understand thoughts and behaviors of themselves and of the people around them.
