Practice in writing essays on economics topics, using different sentence types and patterns, paraphrasing, and summarizing.

What to expect?
The course begins with an introduction to phrases and clauses. Students will then learn how these components can be combined to produce the various sentence types commonly used in academic writing. Following this, the emphasis will be on writing well–structured paragraphs utilizing paraphrased cited material from different texts. The second half of the course concentrates on how to write paragraphs dealing with both causal relationships and comparisons.
By the end of the course, students will have enhanced their writing skills and have a better understanding of sentence structure and paragraph organization.
